The herpes simplex virus effects a very large segment of the American adult population. I do have confidence in a cure for herpes really; I simply hope that is one of them. I believe herpes is worse than what people think due to negative stigma that it has attached to it. It is a fairly darn annoying virus but there a lot more worse things out there. Sure herpes won't eliminate you, but for some people like me my body carries the signs of the virus constantly. I freaked out when I then found out I had formed herpes last month, but after all the research I've done, I am relieved to know very well what I know.
If you have less than six repeated outbreaks of genital herpes in a 12 months, your GP may recommend a five-day span of aciclovir every time you experience tingling or numbness before symptoms start out. When you have more than six recurrent outbreaks of genital herpes in a 12 months, or if your symptoms are severe and leading to you distress particularly, you may want to take aciclovir every day as part of a long-term treatment plan.

If an adult with herpes uses the toilet or has touched the genital area and overlooked to wash their hands, this omission is not difficult in terms of herpes transmission. Washing with ordinary soap and water is clean enough when you yourself have herpes - there is no need to work with any special hand or toilet seat sanitisers.
